About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Software Tester to join our growing consulting agency. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client's software products across the entire development lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with project managers and support teams to define testing strategies, create comprehensive test cases, and execute rigorous testing to identify and resolve potential issues. Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire testing process for new product features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with project and support teams to review requirements and develop effective test plans, cases, and strategies.
- Execute a variety of testing methodologies (functional, end-to-end, system integration, regression, etc.) to validate software releases.
- Document bugs and issues meticulously, manage the retesting process, and ensure timely resolution.
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle, contributing valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in software testing, particularly for integrated website/database systems and mobile applications.
- Expertise in various testing methodologies: functional, end-to-end, system integration, regression, and post-implementation/smoke testing.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into clear, concise, and well-structured test cases and scenarios.
- Experience in developing comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned with software release cycles.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to report test results effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to think creatively and approach challenges from different perspectives.
- Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban).
- Working knowledge of project management tools like Jira & Confluence.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Browserstack, Katalon, or similar.
- Familiarity with API automation testing practices.
- Experience working in DevOps and CI/CD environments.
